Effects of exercise on sex drive

  As with any form of physical activity, being in good shape helps you perform at your best even under the sheets. In this post, we will teach you how exercise and a healthy sex drive are related.
 Do you persistently feel unusually tired or sluggish? In both men and women, low testosterone levels can be a reason for continually feeling fatigued or weak while trying to complete everyday tasks including…. You guessed right, being unable to rise to the occasion.

  Its been proven that exercise increases the flow of testosterone thus promoting healthy sex drive.
Research conducted by Richard Jadick, D.O., a Piedmont urologist opines,
Both men and women need testosterone, just in different amounts.

Testosterone is produced in the testes in males and in the ovaries in females, and both sexes produce a small amount in their adrenal glands.
 How can you increase testosterone levels and in turn boost your sex drive;

Exercise and Lift Weights

Exercise is one of the most effective ways to prevent many lifestyle-related diseases. Interestingly, it can also boost your testosterone.
Exercising increases your testosterone levels which in turn cause rapid gains in muscle mass and vitality in only a matter of weeks.
   A large review study found that people who exercised regularly had higher testosterone levels. Exercise increases testosterone levels, fitness and reaction time and in turn leads to a healthier sex drive.

Research indicates that acute endurance training and resistance training can actually increase your circulating androgens – including testosterone.
Take a break from the treadmill and hit the weights instead. In addition to increased androgen levels, resistance and strength training comes with a ton of other amazing benefits for women and men including stronger bones (reducing your risk of developing osteoporosis) and weight loss. Exercise also helps with self-esteem. When you workout you feel good and look good, in turn, you become more confident.

The mechanisms responsible for biological ageing have not been clearly delineated, as ageing is a complex, multifactorial process with a high degree of individual variability. It is believed that a major portion of age-related changes are a result of lifestyle and environmental influences, which may explain why some individuals age more gracefully than others

It might sound counterintuitive, but purposeful exercise and forcing yourself to expend energy can actually help increase and maintain your testosterone level, which ultimately will improve your energy level and in turn your sex drive and also leave you looking younger and healthy.

However, to achieve efficacy, you must find a balance. Do not over-exercise. Experts recommend strength and resistance training two to three times a week and do 2-3 sets of 10-15 repetitions.
